Chilled water is pumped into the carbonator tank. Simultaneously, food-grade carbon dioxide (CO₂) is introduced into the tank under controlled pressure, creating a carbon dioxide-rich atmosphere above the water level.
A motor-driven impeller or paddle within the carbonator tank agitates the water, breaking it into fine droplets and increasing the surface area for CO₂ absorption. The motor ensures efficient and rapid carbonation, achieving the desired CO₂ volume in the beverage.
The fully carbonated water is discharged through an outlet line, ready for filling into bottles or cans. The system maintains consistent pressure and carbonation levels for uniform product quality.
