PET preforms are loaded into the machine's hopper and fed into the heating oven via a conveyor system. Preforms are oriented and separated to ensure consistent spacing for uniform heating.
Preforms pass through a multi-zone infrared heating oven where they are heated to the optimal temperature for blow molding (typically 90-110°C). The integrated heater system provides precise temperature control across zones, ensuring consistent material properties. An internal air circulation system ensures even heat distribution.
Heated preforms are transferred into the blow mold. A servo-driven stretch rod elongates the preform vertically while high-pressure compressed air (25-35 bar) is injected to expand it against the mold walls, taking the shape of the final bottle.
The newly formed bottle is cooled within the mold to set its shape and dimensions. The mold opens, and the finished bottle is ejected onto a conveyor system, ready for the next stage of the bottling line.
